Leah is a 16-year-old girl living in Digos City in the Philippines. She lost her mother due to illness when she was young and her father is illiterate and unable to provide for their large family. She was sent along with her sister, Girlie, to the Haven of Hope Orphanage. Leah is currently studying at Holy Cross Academy and hopes to one day become a teacher.

Thanks to your generous donations, Leah has graduated from 10th grade to 11th grade! She was also given a medal to recognize her perfect attendance for the school year. With your help, she will continue to learn and grow, and one day finish secondary school.
