Nantale Gorretti is a 19 year-old young woman in her first year of college at St. Maria Girls Vocation Training Centre in Mukono, Uganda. She was pressured to get married and be a homemaker like her sisters, but valued starting her own career instead. The St. Maria Girls Vocation Training Centre allows Gorretti to take nursing classes to work towards her goal of one day becoming a teacher to help train future nurses. In her free time, Gorretti likes being with children, listening to music, playing netball, and watching movies. She is a diligent student who wants to better her life and the lives of those around her through education.
With your help, we can send Gorretti to school for a year! Your donation goes directly to MCODE as a grant to give Gorretti and other girls like her access to the education they deserve.
Consider making a monthly gift. When you give $25 monthly, you ensure Gorretti or another girl at the St. Maria Vocational Training Center has a permanent scholarship until she graduates.
